A few years ago a good friend was going through a difficult season. I desperately wanted to be comforting and supportive but I knew their situation was something I would never really understand the depth of. In that moment I wished that there was some physical manifestation of the things I wanted to express but just couldn’t find words for.

I ended up putting together a makeshift collection of crystals, each with the meaning of something I couldn’t articulate. When I gifted the set I pulled out each crystals one-by-one to explain their meaning and how I hoped they would helped manifest those things into their life.

That experience got me thinking about the many other times in my life I’ve found myself without words–both for intentions for myself and for others. That’s where the idea for Line of Heart came from. I wanted create beautiful and meaningful gifts that are a physical embodiment of intentions for yourself or someone you care about. Instead of these things going unacknowledged they can instead be worn or displayed as a reminder that someone is hoping for good things for us (even if that someone is just a past version of ourself).
